I am sooooo excited to be apart of this "Halloween Hop Party"!!! The rules are simple; anything Halloween or Day of the Dead related are accepted in any form that you wanted to create in... Cards, Scrap Layouts, ATC's, Altered Art or anything else that you can think of!!! The only REAL rule is you MUST use at least one stamp (regular or digital by any company) on your project!!! How cool is that? There will be daily prizes hidden along the way and also a HUGE Grand Prize to one lucky person!!! The blog roll for the month is to the right on my sidebar!!! Be sure to hop, fly, creep, or crawl through all of the creations each day (you never know where a prize may be hidden)! Today my post is going to be a little bit longer as I have created a story piece to go along with the Smudgy Antics Challenge. The challenge is to create with the idea of "Pick A Pumpkin Or Two". You have until Saturday, October 9, 2011 at 12pm PST to enter, so be sure to get your pumpkin on!!! LOL!!! Okay onto my creation...
Here is my story...
Once Upon A Time...
Two friends from Smeared Ink were sent out on a quest to find one or two pumpkins for the Autumn Equinox celebration. They came upon a pile of wonderful large pumpkins. Calypso said "I think these are the perfect pumpkins, as she scratched her head." Heart Grumpie agrees... "Calypso, I told you we should have brought the Glam Vamps along on our journey. How are we going to get our pumpkins back to Smeared Ink?" Calypso said... "We only need one or two pumpkins, let's just get one and I will carry it back." Heart Grumpie thinks for a minute and said "You would only be able to carry one tiny little pumpkin, do you think that will please our creators?' Calypso said "Well I was afraid to bring the Glam Vamps with us because I thought they would bite me!" Heart Grumpie said "They haven't bitten you yet back at the store. Why would you worry about that now?" Calypso said "Because it is dark out here and no one would know; if that isn't enough... The Day of the Dead is coming soon and the word around the store is that they are looking to increase their population by then!" Heart Grumpie had a shocked look on his face as he had not heard that. Finally Heart Grumpie said "Okay, let's just take one tiny pumpkin back to Terra & Tori and see if it pleases them." Calypso said "What if it doesn't; do you think they would erase us?" Heart Grumpie swallowed the lump in his throat and said "I don't think they would do that to us.They love us, right?" Calypso and Heart Grumpie brought back the tiny little pumpkin with fear in their eyes. Terra & Tori were very delighted with Calypso and Heart Grumpie's choice of pumpkin! Everyone lived happily ever after without being erased or bitten!!!
(Yes, I actually wrote that... Can you believe it? LOL!!)
